Each ring segment is a switch, colored and grouped by category — lit means on. The center stays clear except for a ring of small LEDs marking this month's goals: green when done, red until then. The dashed outer bezel spins very slowly with the current momentum — clockwise and green when more switches are net-positive, counter-clockwise and red when more are net-negative, a slow amber blink when it's a wash.
Click or tab to any ring segment to flip that switch, or any center LED to toggle that goal — every view here reads and writes the same data.
One-time. Checked once, and it stays checked.
Each lever reflects a current state, not a today-only checkbox. It doesn't need touching every day — but if it's gone untouched past the reminder window, the amber LED starts to pulse.
Scaffolding only — nothing below actually sends or receives anything yet. The plan is for a module to be able to fire a signal to an external receiver (e.g. a Raspberry Pi) when it turns on or off. See this tool's info page (the ⓘ chrome pill) for the roadmap.
